Aligning Agendas: Advancing Adaptation through Country Participation in the UN Water Conference

Climate change impacts on water resources are one of the most significant challenges to which countries, communities, economies, and ecosystems must adapt. That’s a major reason why the United Nations General Assembly is organizing the first high-level Global Water Conference since 1977, from March 22-24, 2023.

Please join us for this knowledge exchange webinar on February 13, co-hosted by the Adaptation Action Coalition (AAC) Secretariat, Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Alliance for Global Water Adaptation (AGWA).

Dutch Special Water Envoy Henk Ovink will share an overview of the expected activities and outcomes of the UN Water Conference 2023 and will spotlight opportunities for engagement. We will also hear from a panel of high-level AAC country experts from water and environment ministries in Panama, Somalia and Nepal on how water planning is being integrated into national adaptation strategies.

This webinar is organized by the Adaptation Action Coalition (AAC).
