Louise Whiting

Louise Whiting is currently a Land and Water Officer for FAO, covering Mesoamérica, where she focuses on policy and programme development for sustainable land and water management in the region. She is based in Panama. Previously at FAO, she served as a Senior Water Management Expert in their Natural Resources Management Group from the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. Prior to FAO, Louise served as senior policy analyst for water security and climate change at WaterAid for three years. She has also worked on FAO water resources management projects in Bangkok and was senior policy advisor at the Australian Ministry for Water and Rural Development.
