AGWA Executive Director to Join Fireside Chat on Climate Adaptation and Water Scarcity

On 2 December 2025 from 9-10 a.m. EST, AGWA’s Executive Director, John Matthews, will participate in a featured fireside chat during the Water Security Community of Practice Workshops, organized by the Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI).

The session, titled “Climate Adaptation through Water Scarcity,” will examine the growing economic risks associated with drought and water stress—challenges that are becoming increasingly urgent for governments, businesses, and communities worldwide. John will highlight how investor decision-making and financial systems can play a transformative role in strengthening climate resilience, and share emerging innovations that help reduce risk and support long-term sustainability across water-dependent sectors.
